No. CPD zone dispatch is unencrypted on MARCS. Tactical and surveillance channels were encrypted several years ago, but everyday dispatch is open.

Will I hear the State Highway Patrol?

No — OSHP encrypted statewide back in 2019 and that one is genuinely gone. We’d rather tell you now than have you wonder why it’s silent. Everything else on this page is live.

Do I have to program it myself?
